Gardiner came at the same time as Ross Lyon. I'm pretty sure that it was Lyon's decision to do the trade.

from my memory it was Lyons decision. also he asked the leadership group. garnder came over and spoke with the leadership group then they went to ross.

I remember that. Think Rix got an extra year because Ackland left. I think Ross likes having about five ruckmen on his list.



A few weeks ago on SEN they were talking about how the players were finally getting Rossy's game plan in his third year as coach. GT was asked how long it takes for players to buy into a game plan and he said "about six weeks". I pissed myself. I think GT forgets himself sometimes and "accidentally" has a swipe at Ross.
