Can Ross get a flag in the next 2 years to fulfill his footy dream?

St Kilda dont have the talent to do much more than Ross has them doing.

Maybe St Kilda wasn't the team for Ross to go to in the first place. Everyone knows he isnt a development coach, but one to put the icing on the cake.
When a team is ready, he comes in, puts the defensive discipline needed to win a flag in, and off they go.

One thing I will say is they are a tipster's nightmare. Never know when they are going to pull a monster game out of their backside. Only to turn it up the next week.

I reckon Ross' Saints have done pretty well and shown something this year, the last game for example against Collingwood they were very competitive and troubled them at times.

To get to the grand final with two different teams is pretty rare, and that doesn't happen with poor coaches. While he didn't win any of them he did draw one.

I think that is where St Kilda is at. The limitation isn't the coach, its the list and their injuries.

He was done after Freo. I dunno what the hell Saints were thinking shafting Ratten for him but their club isn't exactly known for making good decisions.

I would think he us more likely to go down the administration path, like heading up the AFLPA. That will then allow him more time to surf and fish.
