Agree that there's no need to rush and its possible to get burnt if you dont think the boom will ever end but still after three straight years in the top four, a maiden grand final and minor premiership finish, after the history this club has, if Ross wants to top up the contract I reckon pay the man.

That's exactly what Saint Kilda said, and while they procrastinated we came in and signed Ross up.

I'd hate to see him go to another club because we wanted to wait and see.

Ross has to look after his and his family's future.

Having said that, I am sure he and the club have had discussions already and there will be a trigger for resigning him - probably based around our performance in the first half of the year.
