Rossi or Doohan?

Not sure if anybody watches any 500cc Motorcycle Racing but right now a young kid by the name of Valentino Rossi is dominating the sport and is most likely to for a while just yet. Well until Marco Melandri moves from the 250's to 500's. But is this kid a better driver than Doohan?

IIRC Doohan won 5 straight titles didnt he? I think this year will be Rossi's second or third straight.

Rossi is good,but he doesn't have much competition.

That is exactly my thoughts.

Doohan had a lot more competition during his time IMO, and Rossi doesnt have as much IMHO.

Yeah i suppose...there is some talented riders like Biaggi and Capirossi but a lot of the really good riders are now past there used by date like Kenny Roberts, Criville, Barros etc.

Cant wait til Melandri moves up, then Rossi will have some competition.

Yeah I do realise that. But he never has had a real amount of consistancy.

Hopefully he will have better luck next year.

I have got MotoGP on XBox and its so real! When you play a season, McCoy races in the first 2 or 3 races then he isnt on the starting grid again until about the last 2 races. So realistic

Im being serious too...

LOL. Realistic alright. My flatmate has an xbox, might have to persuade him to get that game!
