Don't get me wrong tambling and deledio will be EXTREMELY good players ... BUT ... for both clubs rebuilding franklin and roughead are better choices IMO in a strategic sense.

Richmond now have 3 very good midfielders ... BUT ******** all kpp ... i have doubts about pattison becomming a top liner.

While there are quality midfielders in every draft, the hawks got the pick of the kpp and can re-stock midfielders next year ... this way in 3 years time the kpp will start to blossom at the same time as the new midfielders ... this is similar to the saints who took kozi and reiwolt, then next draft grabbed ball, dal santo etc ... where as the tigers now have great onballers without any real kpp.

I think both clubs made a HUGE mistake not taking a ruckman, ie wood/meeson as next year apparently the ruck stocks are very bare and its jam packed with good midfielders ... i mean in 2-3 years when everett etc retires wood/meeson would have come into their own and been stars in teh making.

Just my thoughts guys ... i was sick of supporters bagging out hawthorns selections ... i feel hawthorn whether they intended to or not actually helped re-build there club significantly yesterday and similar to what wallace did at the doggies he loaded up with midfielders (lets just hope for the tigers he gets better success out of them).

Do ppl agree with me?

I would have liked a ruckman, but i am also of the opinion that ruckman are way over rated, the position i mean, unless the guy can get some kicks around the ground, i feel the player is useless, its nice to get a ruckman that can tap the ball to your players, but i still feel if you have a strong midfield that can read the tap work, it shouldn't be a handy cap.

What doubts do you have against Pattison? He was CHF of the year in TAC cup but he will need time in the gym, also he is capable to play in the ruck which will be helpful. From the games i watched him play in he was a very good player up foward who kciked goals. Nice height and has speed, and a good leap.
