The problem is with Roughead is he would have little trade value by years end if he continues like this.

2008 he was very good but 09 and the start of 2010 have been embarrassing.

I couldn't imagine too many sides wanting a guy who hasn't performed consistently in 2 years and can't make the distance from 45 metres out..

I think he could come good and I hope he does. Though at the same time he could end up like Chris Tarrant.

I say we play him down back now because he will fill a need for us and could be a premier CHB for the next 10 years

You're terrible at this. Don't give up your day job.

I want Natinui. Ellis for Natinui. Over to you.
No offence taken

You're getting:

- A good CHB (young) Brown
- A mid aged clanger king that may / may not come good - Sphanger
- a servicable forward that fills your loss at FF - Lynch (for 3 years whilst you develop another forward)

2 KP Backs & a short term forward. Backline is where you have nothing. Cox wouldn't be on the radar, we could get a top 3 pick from GC for him alone. I'd suggest Roughhead probably wouldn't command as much as Cox if he were traded to GC.

I think that's reasonable, but feel free to remove Lynch & Sphanger and add in another backman to team up with Brown instead. But I'd suggest on current form, last 1.2 years, he isn't worth Brown & another good KP backman.

There is nothing wrong with most of our players - Roughead can play.

IT is all attitude and confidence which comes from the top.

Blame lies with Clarkson primarily, then Mitchell and the rest of the leadership group.

And also the board & footy directors for not making sure that we get better assistant coaches, and for allowing Pelchan to continue to recruit spuds.

come on mate, lets be reasonable, he is asking for a fair trade. scott clayton is saying that gold coast will give up pick 1,2,3 for natanui (which i would trade).

In-turn, i suggest a fair trade for natanui would be Tom Murphy and Ellis. Now lets finalise this trade.

Wouldn't we just move Roughead to CHB and forget about your list cloggers?

So anyway, Ellis is a top 3 draft pick premiership player with exceptional footskills, we'll chuck in another 100 game premiership player in Osborne for your deficient small forward setup and that would be overpaying for Natanui, who is only your second ruckman.

Given their respective ages, Roughead would command a damn sight more than Cox.

No offence but it seems that your knowledge on how recruiting works is limited.

23 year old, 60-70 goal per season monster forward with plenty of upside and 8-9 years of AFL football in front of him.
vs
28 year old elite mobile ruckman who is just past his peak and has 3 or 4 years left.

The GC and any other club takes Roughead every day of the week.

No trade. This is very short sighted. Roughy is a quality player who is havig a few issues at present. He needs to get right and get his desire and self belief back that's all
