Deledio one of the biggest underachievers I’ve ever seen because he was playing in a terrible environment that couldn’t be helped when he was developing. If he were a Hawk, a Cat or even a Magpie - teams who were competing during his development and peak, he’d have been an amazing footballer. I’ve gone back and over time seen a few Tiger games highlights from around 06-09 and seen how in close games and Tiger victories, he was involved in almost every single play that resulted in Richmond goals or close to goals. He should have been a machine.

Roughead had the better career. Four premierships all of which he was key in, a Coleman medal (playing same team as Franklin) and will finish up with over 600 goals you’d assume.
