Lost a nailbiter in the first game with boncer34, Shermy and TheInjuryFactory keeping us afloat with the bat to reach what was about a par score. We bowled really well but just couldn't quite capture the two set batsmen at the right time to give ourselves the upper hand. Tough to lose a game like that but we aren't all that far off.
The second game was another one on a knife's edge. Van_Dyke, iBeng and TheInjuryFactory propelled us to a good score but we struggled with the ball and after the first ball of the final over, the game should have been done and dusted. Smartys Power dragged us with him though and bowled probably the best over you'll see defending one run off five balls which helped us to a tie, something that seemed a long way off coming into the final over.
So two really close games for us and we managed to score one point which is better than nothing. Time to rebound in the coming games and get ourselves a few wins on the board. :thumbsu"
