Very good win to get off the mark in 2019. Future is looking bright with Rozee, Butters and Duursma. Melbourne just could not go with us and they broke easily and Westhoff, Rockliff and Boak were all excellent.

Let’s enjoy this one and move on to Carlton at home next week.

The lid is off!

Brave attacking footy and once we tidy up and gel the new system and all the new players, there is absolute flag potential in this side.

Rocky and Boak in the midfield were dominant. We marginally lost the clearances but gave their midfield an absolute bath overall. Up forward we had 2014 energy.

Westhoff seems to have gained enough XP to level up and has added "Set shot under pressure" to his arsenal.

All the kids were brilliant. Every one of them showed energy but also composure as the game went on.

Excellent start.
Good to see Watts and Rockliff put some numbers up.
The thing I loved the most was the physicality. We’ve talked about wanting Port football again and we got a glimpse. We’ve got some old Port boys back in the box and we’ve got some bite again.
Got into their most important player, worked him. Bullied and harassed them.
