Unbelievable with Hewett, they has to be reason outside of ability. No tall forwards. 3rd best inside mid dropped.

There's some pace in that side but feels kind of slapped together. Is that really the best side we could field?

Hewett was pour first game

You don't drop a player of Hewett's quality on the back of one bad game. Kieren Jack got a full year to spud it up before Longmire even considered dropping him.

Hewett can be a clearance beast if he is allowed to do the role, and considering how weak our midfield is it is insane Hewett has been dropped (assuming it is not a family thing)

Reckon this will be a very low-scoring affair, as I can't see either forward lines being too dangerous when you consider the opposition defences they are up against.

We've got a young forward line obviously but so do Crows: Jones, Frampton, Murphy, Fogarty and Stengle is a very young group. Realistically either should be well held by the opposition defences (our defenders in Rampe, Aliir, Mills, Dawson, Brand should be too good for the Crows, and likewise the Crows with quality guys like Brown, Talia, Laird, Smith and Kelly should be too good for our forwards.)

It'll probably come down to the amount of opportunities and capitalising on those opportunities. Crows might have a slight edge there given you'd expect them to trounce us in the midfield and win the territory battle.

hewett is family ill presume

Sinclair hard done by, naismith better perform
I don't know why you wouldn't park Sinclair at full forward and keep him as an emergency ruck option. I don't know that Ronke deserved a run. Got a very mobile forward line but heap of pressure on Blakey. Maybe it'll be a stroke of genius and we'll run the Crows backline ragged.

Honestly who is the second ruck, Aliir? Good thing they're shortened quarters otherwise Aliir would be knackered

Problem with us is I've noticed in the past when we go small for a focus on speed and pressure, we end up all speed and no pressure. Yeah they are quick, but have we actually seen guys like Ronke, Taylor, McInerney, Hayward ever be decent pressure players?

Ronke for like three games in 2018 maybe.
