Doing this was actually pretty interesting and difficult. Don't read too much into the difference between the two sides. It's mostly about what the side would look like if we could get back some of our injured x-factor players like Jacobs and Daw and also if Ahern and Garner can keep their spots due to good pre-season form and fitness. Would have liked to have Walker in the side but he'll need more time in the VFL after his year off.

We must have the most even side in the competition. Really after Brown, Cunnington, Higgins, Goldstein, Ziebell, Tarrant, Pittard and Polec you could pretty much throw a blanket over the next 25 and would have to pick a side that has the most even distribution of abilities.

I probably underrate Tyson, Wood, Hall and McDonald but they all had forgettable 2019s. As I said above, their spot in the team is pretty much as deserved as anyone's. The coming pre-season could be career defining for about half of the list.

As usual, I would think we should have a few definite players, and a few borderline. I would also think that anyone in the top 10 of the B&F would be certainties. Those thinking Dumont wont be a part of the team have rocks in their head, IMO.
