The team’s travelling pretty well if Wuetschner and Zanchetta are emergencies- I wonder what the go is there? If they’re not fit surely they aren’t emergencies?

I’m guessing team growth and competition. A couple of our recruits came with decent reps, particularly Hodder.

Smith is a tall forward, and allows us to play two tall forwards.

I can't see how the competition has improved to the point Woosh isn't best 22. Would be a nice surprise if that was the case, but highly doubtful.

Hodder arrived with really big wraps.

Former U18AA. Ferocious tackler. Very fast. Genuine goal kicker.

As I mentioned above, we’ve changed the look of our forward line, going with two genuine talls.

And we’ve gone with a very mid heavy team, with genuine mids named in defence and up forward. So my guess is we plan to run a lot, and rotate the mids a lot.

Agree with a few here and shocked Woosha isn't playing. Being able to find the goals seems even more critical in the woman's game with the lower scoring and inaccuracy. Having said that the girls are playing well and it seems a good mix up forward. Go Lions!!
