Missed the middle Quarters, but girls looked all over them. I wonder how we stack up against the better sides. We have kept the team together despite expansion this time, probably better than most?

Oh and Orla has picked up where she left off and kicking goals. She is a beauty in more ways than one that's for sure.

Agree, there is a lot of improvement in the Lions. If we play a bit better against one of the expansion teams in could get very ugly (in a good way); however, they will likely play 15 behind the ball.

I think that new AFLW home base came at just the right time for the Lions. There will be a bunch of AFL related jobs as well as non AFL related adjacent jobs (like staffing the new gym/pool/community programs etc) so our part-time girls players will have lots of opportunities opening up for them. Sprinfield is set to have some massive growth in the future as well. Would be much more affordable/liveable than Melbourne.
