Pretty much what we expected. A cannot win event. We learnt nothing about ourselves today than reinforcing that we are wasteful and lack a killer instinct.

We concede easy clearances and easy goals.

Soldo is a good forward half player.
Finlayson will always be laconic.
Todd is an almost star.
Dixon even at his best, is not a prolific goal kicker.
DBJ and McEntee are nowhere near the level of other teams” small forwards.

Drew is reliable. Boak and Bergman are good choices on the wings, but neither are great kickers bringing the ball into our forward line.

Rozee, Butters and JHF are stars. Mead is ok at AFL level. Wines looks fit.

Houston is a jet. Burton and Farrell can be too, but consistency under pressure will always be their challenge.

Aliir, Ratugolea and BZT should give us aerial supremacy in defence. How it pans out when our backs are isolated is another matter.

Jones needs to lift his game pronto.
