No, I mean, as a weekly proposition,

Don't choose someone who is named an emergency, because next thing you know they get put in, score 25 (2x) and you've stuffed your weekly score up,

My question is though, should I try and trade out Dahlhaus for another decent forward? I'd have ~$500k to spend.

What... Dude Brad Scott is YOUR coach, our coach is McCartney, he's not an emergency he's on the extended bench for some reason. Dahlhaus is going to play and play well.

If I were to trade out 2 players from my team that don't look like they're going to play this weekend, is that counted in my unlimited trades?

or does it come off the 30 trades per season?

30 trades only starts after rd 1 is completed, before rd 2,

You can continue to trade players for rd1 provided their team hasn't played yet, locked in once they do,
