You and the 39.45% of people who currently have him selected as captain, what a pod goldmine you've struck!Great year - Ablett for me and will be great seeing f-all on him this year.
Compare that to most years where it's upwards of 80% you smart ass I'll ride it home. And just to clarify - I think most will have him as VCYou and the 39.45% of people who currently have him selected as captain, what a pod goldmine you've struck!

I have no fear not starting Ablett - My fear is trying to get him in when he goes bang - and he will!In before he plays Round 2 and scores 184, 167 and 158 and TheOz is on here planning trades to get him in![]()
Hence my stategy of having him in my side and planning around him. If he doesn't play Round 1, I'll trade him just before the GC game to Pendles, leaving me enough cash in the kitty to reverse that trade when he does go bang. Of course that only works if Pendles doesn't drop in price.I have no fear not starting Ablett - My fear is trying to get him in when he goes bang - and he will!
I think one good strategy is to take an undervalued mid like Swallow, Griffen, Steven??, even Dangerfield who should make good coin early and make sure you have some cash left over to do that sideways trade. I don't think Pendles is the right plan only because he's a monty top 5 midfielder and should remain in your team. Some other meh type players would be a good jump if people aren't looking at starting the champHence my stategy of having him in my side and planning around him. And for the record, looks like since I posted that number has risen to 45% ownership - some influence.
Sorry bud - but if 45% have him in their team! you can guarantee that 45% have him pencilled in as Capt whether directly or those smarter ones through the VC loophole.ownership != captain choice, he hasn't risen at all in ownership, his captaincy % is what I was referring to not total ownership.
I concur yet having said that, how does that not contradict your initial statement of "will be great seeing f-all on him this year."?Sorry bud - but if 45% have him in their team! you can guarantee that 45% have him pencilled in as Capt whether directly or those smarter ones through the VC loophole.
Yeah, must admit I am still a little surprised to see so many on him after reading that so many are writing him off. I expected his ownership % to be right down and maybe I'd uncovered a uniques diamond in the rough. Obviously PaigesSuperCoach influence doesn't extend further than the Dandenong sewerage treatment plant.I concur yet having said that, how does that not contradict your initial statement of "will be great seeing f-all on him this year."?
