Wont be 90k, more like 82k if they are lucky but also rest assured the round 2 crowd will be lower than the round 1 crowd as a fair few tiger fans won't back up two weeks in a row for a thursday night game, AFL are so ******* stupid and one only has to look at 2017 to see this....73K for R1 ( blues home game ) then only 58K for R2. ( tigers home game )

Surely round 2 will be at least 85 k plus, it's a massive match. If you have a ticket to that from your membership, you go.

For Round 2, only Level 4 tickets remain.
Yeah nah, deliberate holding back until bays are filled.

It's no bigger than playing Gold Coast, you get 4 pts for a win.

WRONG it’s our home game so season ticket holders get in for nix rather than be cornholed with bloos debt reduction price gouging I expect it will be 5-10k more ,,,,at least

But how many people are going to back up for 2 thursday nights in a row if they live out in the burbs, it might be a case of choose one and miss the other. AFL dumb as dogshit putting the same side on a thursday two weeks in a row.

If it indeed did come to choosing then I’d expect our home game , not convinced it’s a major issue though it personally pisses me off I prefer Saturday arvo

If parents take kids to R1, get home late and those kids wake up grumpy on the friday morning then guess who wont be attending R2 in favour of staying home and watching on TV.

So are the gates now shared or are the blues getting all the cashola

To the best of my recollection gates are shared. It seems lop sided now with us carrying the fixture for years now but fact is they remain a huge club and if and shen they return to contention we will benefit as well.

This game? 83,000 and we will win by 30.

I don't think the Rd 1/2 games being on Thursday nights necessarily affects crowd numbers.

I would say high 70's-low 80's for the Carlton game (because it is a Carlton home game), mid-high 80's for Round 2 if both Pies and Tigers win.

Let's not forget that in the history of the sport, only 0.7% of attendances are above 80,000, and only 0.1% above 90,000
