voss is worse than anyone, he doesn't know half the ******* rules. someone dig up the thread from last year where i ranted about voss not knowing the definition of a double movement.

Vossey's problem is he learned everything he knows from those fossils and just repeats their innate bullshit.
No way Voss is worse than the idiots on 9 last night.

Really enjoyed the FoxSports coverage.

How shit is the intro video to channel nine? Most of the sound effects are out of sync with the vision.

Walker has played 5/8 as a youngster so it's not new to him. New combination, new club, he needs time. People were saying the same thing about Milford at the start of last season and look at him now. Manly missed Stewart tonight but the Bulldogs just came out wanting it more and were much more settled. Way too many errors by Manly which cost them dearly.

Well aware of him playing 5/8 in the past. He is a very skilled player and world class centre but I think he would be a better centre than he could become at 5/8. But you're right, way too early to tell whether Walker will be a good 5/8 or not

He has no where else to play besides 5/8 or wing so he'd be better utilized at 5/8 which is why Barrett is playing him there. He's a waste on the wing. No place for him at fullback or the centres at the moment.

You don't think Barrett might hit the panic button later in the season if Walker doesn't settle in to the position and move Lyon to 5/8?

Canterbury played brilliantly last night. Looks like Des has adapted a good strategy for the new rules. The forwards are lighter, fitter and looked mobile, yet they still completely dominated Manly in the ruck. Mbye and Reynolds looked like a great halves pairing, and a kicking game with left and right foot kickers is a bonus..

Very impressive season opener from the Doggies..
