To add to the discussion re: Shaw. I mentioned this a week ago on here:

Finally, avoid players who had a year 'out of the box' the season prior as most will not sustain that level.

As such, my worry with the above:

Shaw - whilst obviously a gun and will end up amongst the highest scorers from defence, in the 7 seasons prior to last year, he had never missed less than 3 games! He had also never averaged more than 101. He is now priced to average 112. Surely his price will come down even he does somehow reproduce easily his best season (which in my experience is rare). Countrpoint is that there are few guns with strong scoring histories in defence.
From the above, it was an is a fair bet that his scores will come back to the pack a little and that he is therefore overpriced. With that said, it depends on whether you can find a better way to spend that money elsewhere - I personally couldn't (not enough to upgrade my carefully chosen mid-pricers to premiums) and decided to keep him in the knowledge he'll be top 3 regardless of whether he loses some value. Therefore no need to regret the decision even if it does occur (that he loses some value).
