Not being precious at all. I'm simply suggesting that my structure of a few mid pricers and fallen premiums is not as ridiculous as you continue to suggest. So much so that I would be happy to back myself with some hard earned.
Why is it when you make a comment - it is just a general statement, yet when others query you, we're supposedly precious?

Wont be a problem if it's just oneGotta factor in possible rookie fixes too
Fisher was on the ball when he kept getting pinned holding the ball and kept giving up -3's. Was on 12 for a long time and I bet you were worried you'd made a huge mistake at that stage.Fisher, Walsh and setters for me. All did pretty well. Jeez fisher had a rollercoaster first half but looked good when playing on ball. Putting balta in at the 11th hour as f8 looks a mistake but I'll give him another round, hopefully he is not dropped.
I've canned a premo and taking a huge punt on another mid-pricer which if it doesn't come off, he can become Newman.Haha, I'm already teeing up a trade to Newman if any of my three defender premos slip up. They have been warned. 26 possessions and 21 kicks!
He did look damn good. At least JLT2 scared off a lot of a punters so currently only 6% ownership were rewarded for their belief tonight.Witherden to Newman round 3? Lol

I had faith, but yeah i was also worried. He literally scored 15 in 5 mins, -3 in the next 40 and then 23 in 10 mins to get to 35 at the half. Positive signs but also went missing a fair bit. Nice tackles on dusty though. Jury is well and truly out, I'll definitely take a solid 84 first up thoughFisher was on the ball when he kept getting pinned holding the ball and kept giving up -3's. I've done similar moves in EPL DT before and they have reaped dividends, but the only way I see I can do this type of move now is to get rid of Witherden now for a rookie and I'd prefer not to tank this weekHe did look damn good. It may almost be worth possibly restructuring your side this weekend so if he does back it up again next week you do have a viable way to get him in as that $544K is very awkward to deal with otherwise.![]()
Yeah Milera, Ryan, McGrath and Mills are all around that price point amongst others so I might run with one of those guys this weekend and if that doesn't work out over the next fortnight then it could be Hello Newman as a simple switch. I did have some of these guys in my team at one point so maybe it's not such a silly stretch but will certainly sleep on the idea first.I've canned a premo and taking a huge punt on another mid-pricer which if it doesn't come off, he can become Newman.
Anyone fielding Brad Crouch? I sort of just copied my afl fantasy midfield. Just realised that Brouch doesn't have anywhere near the discount he gets in AF. He's still decent value but nowhere near a lock like he is in AF
It's funny how people say Patrick Cripps's ceiling is limited. The dude averaged 118 in the second half of last season and had scores of 162 and 146 in that run. First half of the season he had a 130, 138 and 140. Classic overreactions of this board. He tonned up in the first game after looking like he copped what could have been a potentially nasty knock. He'll be brilliant again this year.
If they played him out of the goalsquare for five minutes at a time and had some players who could reliably pass it to him (most likely Murphy at the moment) then he'd definitely kick a decent amount of goals through the year. He's got great pace off the mark, strength and height that would be perfect for a lead up forward. If Crippa could add goal kicking to his game he'd be a DT fantasy pig
