Greetings Port supporters,

My first post on an opposition forum so go easy!

I'm considering going over to Adelaide for Round 1 to see us wipe the floor with Port. (Here's hoping!)

Now, I know Port isn't the Crows and they don't fill AAMI Stadium.

I assume you just buy tickets at BASS or whatever it's called over there, but can you ask to be sitting in the Essendon section or is it just pot luck and you get where they put you, or is it perhaps, general adminssion???

Cheers.

im sure if you asked they would put you with the other essendon supporters which are usually down the southern end behind the goals? I usually just buy the cheapest ticket at the door and then wander wherever i want, because as you pointed out we are not the crows and we dont fill the stadium. so im sure you wont have too much trouble.

Buy your tickets with BASS or at the gate, it shouldn't matter. Our best non-showdown crowds are in the mid 30,000s apart from a few like last years friday night match v Collingwood or r22 in 2002 when we were playing Brissie for the top of the table.

You can sit anywhere. I often move during the game to a spare seat near where the action is. There shouldn't be any problem for you in getting a seat near Essendon supporters, but there are quite a few in SA so you wouldn't be on your own if you sat away from the cheer squad.
