Edwards is just about out of runs for me. That last mistake cost us massively. Could have been within 3 goals.

Playing no Tuck has bitten us on the ass. Getting murded in the clearances. He will be back next week, no doubt.

Batchelor looks like an out and out gun.

Deledio, Cotchin, Newman all not doing enough.

Some of our "crap" players in White and Nahas have actually been pretty good imo.

Houli has been dissapointing

Yep that is the good thing, the bad players are the same ones we were saying were poor last year but all 5 new players have looked good, won plenty of ball and Conca and Batchelor have been smart with it.

Im very happy with Batchelor, Conca and Helbig so far. Especially Batchelor and Helbigs wilingness to put their body on the line. Conca seems to be getting plenty of the ball but thats the way the cookie crumbles when its down there 80% of the time.

And havent Luke Darcy and Matty Loyd been giving Lids plenty from the box... hopefully someone from the game can shed some light on how heavily hes being tagged off HB but it appears Walker and Carrazzo are swapping.

How embarrassing that Conca is our best player. He's a gun.

I'm ****ing furious with Deledio, Cotchin, Foley, Jackson and Edwards.

They are meant to be senior players. No excuses. Getting smashed in the middle.

Murphy needs to be attended too.

Jack and Morton excellent. The forwardline and defense has been great. Our midfield is just getting slaughtered.

Lids & Dusty just don't look themselves & their not alone. A couple of promising flashes but they don't really look like thy've got going yet. Second 1/4 better than 1st lets hope the trend continues & they take another step this 1/4.

edwards is a decent player his disposal is soooo bad yet he still gets games. they should send him back to the VFL to work on his decision making

its been a very hard game to watch we are getting smashed in every way

For the record I reckon McGuane has been really good.

I find it staggering that Tuck and Thursty
Left out for Edwards and Rance

Thursfield is miles ahead of Rance defensively and
Skills wise

Tuck is a tough body/ clearance machine, big mistake not playing him.

Still would have liked one more tall up forward if we are just going to bomb
It long, makes the selection of
Helbig a waste of time.

I predicted Tucky would miss the first couple of weeks until the selectors realise he is our best tsoppage player. I think I over-estimated.

Can someone again tell me why I should be excited by Astbury?

Conca and Batchelor look quite good. Rance not the worst. Our midfield (Jackson excepted) has been the major problem. Cotchin needs to work out how to get into the game.

I think McGuane has been OK, considering how much the ball has been down there.

I made Cotchin my supercoach captain over the likes of Pendles, Sidey and Beams. Hope he lifts...

Hope someone can line up Robinson, that guy is a massive w***er.

Vickery did some gerat things in the 1st quarter but then did one embarrassing thing in the 2nd and did nothing else.
Houli and Grigg have been disappointing, particularly Bachar so far.
Our rucks are horrid. Gus tries hard and does some good things, but we need Derricksx in there quick to at least provide a contest at the centre bounce. Hampson and Warnock are raping us so far.
Foley's return has been encouraging without being brilliant.
Chimp is giving his all, just can't into the game. Same with Dusty.
Lids has been quiet and won't play this badly again for the season.

PS: if the umpires spent as much time watching the game as they did watching Chris Judd, the game would be better off.

Our Rucks are hopeless, how can we expect our mids to win the clearances when they are chasing tails all night?

The turnovers in the back half is still a huge problem for us. The club is going to struggle to win until we sort out this issue.

**** this, i'll go the other way. I reckon our backs have gone okay (first half). The amount of ball that has gone down there is a disgrace. Seriously under the pump. When the ball has entered our forward line, we look dangerous. Our midfield has been an out and out disgrace. No run (offensively or defensively), no risk taking, second to the ball. If Warnock is dominating, Gus and Vicks should stay down occaisionally as a 4th onballer. Bring Dan C on, give Helbig a rest. Delidio to a wing??

Geez we have some poor decision makers down back tonight.
Namely Edwards and Rance. Both a real worry IMO. Rance goes hard at least.
Newman doing well. McGuane pretty good.

Midfield being smashed. Need to Sub Connors for Helbig - who's done/shown nothing to date.

Some good run at times when we spread wide. Tackling is again weak. Hoped that'd we worked on that over summer.

The Ruck is an absolute walkover. Gus looks like a draught horse with his tongue hanging out.
Of the 1st year players I like Batchelor, 1 wonky kick back knows how to find it. Conca is a chippy up and under kicker. Hope he fixes that. Might be OK in the WAFL but will be turnover central in the AFL.

The biggest concern is the players standing still at kickouts. No run, movement. It's like there is no plan in place at all.
