Even though we're still a few weeks out I thought I may as well start this now to get everybodys feelings on how you think we'll go in round one.

All I wanna say is we better bloody win, especially with all the hype surrounding the dedication of the game to Broady. Id love to see us crush the Dons, just bitch slap them around if you know what I mean.

We should be able to start the season off with a win.

Wouldn't be surprised if we started off poor though like the past few seasons.

If we didn't knock off Essendon though I'd be prettydisappointed.

I'm tipping Melbourne off course and I'll go but I'm not locking in a win just yet. It's too unpredictable with us and we could get belted or we belt them, hopefully the latter. I'll be watching Moloney the most as he will give our midfield the hardness it has been lacking for a long time.

No more practice matches now, so my side would look something like this:

B. Whelan Nicholson Bizzell
HB. Wheatley Rivers Brown
C. Green Moloney Johnstone
HF. Yze Miller Bruce
F. Robertson Neitz Davey
R. White McDonald McLean
Int. Jamar, Read, Heffernan, Holland
E. Sylvia Bell Ferguson

Injuries permitting of course, so Sylvia should still be a chance to play!

Seriously, I'd be very surprised if we lost this game.

Here is the side I'd pick to play the Bombers:

B: Whelan - Nicholson - Brown
HB: Bizzell - Rivers - Wheatley
C: Green - Moloney - Johnstone
HF: Yze - Miller - Davey
F: Holland- Neitz - Robertson
R: White - Bruce - McLean
I: Jamar - McDonald - Ferguson - Read
E: Sylvia - Heffernan - Bell

I wouldn't mind giving Col the chance to face the Bombers first up.

Just couldn't drop anyone from that side. Unless of course Nicholson gets a rest seeing Lloyd is out.

Your starting 18 is pretty close, although I highly doubt Danners will leave out Heffernan. Believe it or not, he's important to us.

Wouldn't surprise if Nicho missed due to no fitness and Ferguson played, they won't play both to go with Rivers, Bizzell and Wheatley.

It's out of Johnson and Holland, and Johnson may get the nod based on fitness. Dutchy has only played one game.

We couldn't possibly decide to play White, Jamar, Johnson AND Holland all in the same side at the same time. 3 is more than enough.

I will find out definately anytime now but i think Sylvia will get a game. I have tipped the dees. Without Lloyd or even with him i couldn't see them kicking enough goals to beat you. I see the dons slipping a little this year. Just need to stop Hirdy and you shouldn't have too many problems. Any players from your best 22 unable to play due to injury????

Apparently Read did a hammy tonight at training and I'd say he'd be close being in our best 22.

Sylvia isn't a cert.

well sylvia is in the team and so is rigoni who i thought was a surprise. i thought Bell would get the nod over riggers

i'd be definatly dissapointed if we lost because now is a good a chance as any to beat the dons without lloyd and hille and a few others
