It's incredible hubris isn't it?

It took destroying the clubs culture, being the joke of the league for over a decade, tanking, and priority pick after priority pick just to have a less impressive so called 'era' than the 2020-2022 Cats.

A side that was supposedly years too old, and made up of spit & gum for draft picks. State leaguers, Irishman and steeple chasers as far as the eye could see.

It's not even delusion. It's more like a coping mechanism if anything.
