Give Long a full game before writing him off. He has been ok imo, he looks bit lost but his tacking and pressure has been decent, his composure needs work and he needs to start scoring.

I think we need to give him some games and then judge him.

Agree. If we are looking for a bit of campaigner then bring in Wright. His hits are harder.
If looking for someone for pressure acts and a chance of kicking a couple then Lonie.
Send Long to the gym to throw around some steel for the season so he has a body to match his mental physicality.

I'm really *en concerned about the teams lack of confidence in Billy Longer. He's obviously been instructed to handball off every time he gets possession, and the boys won't even kick to him when he's wide open.
If he's that ******* useless then why is he even in the *en side? And what the * does that say about Hickey if he's even worse than Billy?
Marshall will soon be our number one ruckman.

Bruce did it a couple times that term. Just far far too many blokes who can't consistently hit a target
