your kidding yourself if you think swallow has to earn his spot for round 1
needs to be more decisive with his kicking and think a bit quicker as i think his skills are lacking and he gets caught far too often. His attack on the ball cant be questioned but i think a couple of guys are putting there hands up to play in his possie atm.

Campbell must play as he is the only that can put pressure in the forward 50. The other 6 u have mentioned in the forward line would have trouble catching a cold .

4 pages and no one has mentioned Matt Riggios name as a possible inclusion for your first game.

You guys and girls obviously know your players better than an outsider like me

I assume that he is either seriously injured or that none of you for what ever reason, rate him at all?

The bombers are our bitches. I would of thought every bomber supporter would already know that.

All it means is instead of us winning by only 30 points we now should win by 60 points. Your our B-I-t-C-H-E-S.:thumbsu: Full stop.

Rawlings is a good tagger with pretty average footskills which hurt occassionally. I would pick him in our team as he is definitely important, but he is not the best tagger in the league.

Needs to learn to kick though.

And/or get a nose job ;)

Problem is there are only 22 spots available. I just hope Laidley doesn't play guys in the view of resurrecting their career in place of younger guys who probably have more talent but just need development.

With;

Harvey
Grant
Simpson
Pratt
Petrie
Rawlings
Thompson
Jones
Firrito
Watt &
Wells

There is enough experience to play an Urquhart and/or an Adams at the expense of a Harding or Brown with them not having to take on any major roles. And it's these type's along with Smith, McMahon and Lower that are going to make the difference in years to come. I'd be real shitty if these guys were left out to include a Harding, Brown or Sinclair simply for the cause of playing it safe. To me, thats a step backwards.

My team what i would like to see:

B: Firito Gibbo Pratto
HB: Urq/Rigg/Levi Petrie Smith
C: ??? Wells ???
HF: CJ Hansen Edwards
F: Shag Thomo Camb
R: Hamish Harvey Harris
INT: Hale, Simmo, Rawl, McM/Lower

I am ready for all critisizm, i have left blanks in the centre cos i dont think any of our players on current form have what it takes to play there, want to put SMith in there but his fitness is a worry... its time to throw a Adams or Thommo Mk2 in there to shwo what they can do!

i would keep Hansen at CHF and let CJ and EDwards roam the wings a bit to set up the play.

Other then that i think the side is OK.

B - Firrito Gibson Pratt
HB - Sinclair Petrie Smith
C - Wells Simpson Hansen
HF - Jones Edwards Campbell
F - Grant Thompson Rawlings
R - McIntosh Harris Harvey

I - Hale Swallow McMahon Watt

Rawlings not a FP, just listed there. He would tag as usual. Jones and Edwards the two HF's, Thommo at FF and Grant and Campbell to float the forward line.

A bit of what I would like to see and what I think will happen.

Would like to see Petrie given CHB as his for the year.
Would like to see the HBF's and wings have lots of run and pace. I think with our list this could become one of our real strengths.
Would like to see Hale returned to No.2 ruck with both him and H frequenting the forward line (deep only) occasionaly.

I think harding should have to prove himself in the back line before being considered, and then he must be better than who is the incumbant.
I think both Power and Davies should have to earn a spot as the new kids on the block. Lower McMahon and the like did to much right last year to be jumped without good reason.
As the year progresses would like to see/hope that the new Thommo jumps Watt and Urquhart presses for selection on that HBF.
Would live to have a spot for Lower and Adams but without injuries finding it hard at the moment.
