My prediction:

F: Bryan, Rocca, Davis
R: Fraser, Swan, O'Bree
Int: Burns, Licuria, Lockyer, Richards
Emg: Egan, Iles, Reid

I think Medhurst won't be risked unless he returns vs. Richmond. I also have a gut feeling one of Burns, Licuria, Lockyer will be dropped/rested or maybe Buckley won't be risked. This may give Iles a spot who seems to be impressing the coaching staff. Egan will be closely monitored during the pre-season, the coaches seem to like giving him a kick up the bum and send him to Willy until he improves certain apsects of his game.

Tie Rocca to the goalpost so he can't leave the goalsquare, move the ball long and fast to him. Josh can push forward when needed, and with Bucks and Dids it makes a dangerously talented front half. Bryan can substitute in the ruck, he's bigger and angrier than Richards. Swan seems to play his best footy when he starts at centre-half bench, so let him rotate through the midfield as he did so easily last year. Thomas and Davis can also be used through the middle to help with speed. Most importantly, tell the backline to run! We looked our best last year when Johnno, Heath or Dane had the ball tucked under their arm.

For round one, i reckon medhurst fits in for didak (presuming he doesn't come up), and Burns steps up for Brodie. Wakelin's selection depends on the number of opposition tall forwards from week to week.

Just realised I missed Racer.

Also, i put Iles in the back pocket not based on exactly a starting 18 (best 18), but simply because my defence was taller with Maxwell, and Iles will play out of the back pocket, in round one...we think.

If I was to put Rhyce in, may get in ahead of Medhurst (may still have a niggle, may not be in our best 22 just yet!)

Wondering how Maxy would play up forward. Would be interesting.
