Unsurprising.
Out of curiosity more than anything probably because you continue to undersell the Carlton brand - collingwood failed to attract no more than 79k to their first home game with the unfurling of the flag on a Friday night game, and Carlton got 83k to a Thursday night game at the same venue.
You did categorically state that you were unsurprised by the amount of tickets left over for Thursday. I'm a bit more bewildered by the 79k attendance last night. I thought the pies were a powerhouse? Any explanation you care to give from your observations ?

The flag unfurling occurred at 6.25, in front of a crowd of about 10,000 people.

Just like Carlton are the best team in the competition after two rounds, they are also the best attended team in the competition on the back of a round 1 attendance against Richmond of 3000 to 4000 more people than Collingwood's game against Sydney....

Except both statements are incorrect.
