Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
I think Fyfe is a bad comparison simply because he is Fyfe. IMO you have Fyfe and GAblett, then a big gap, then the likes of Dangerfield, Pendlebury, J Selwood. Still elite players but not like the first two who have changed the game individually. It's like saying that Fremantle are not worse off without having Fyfe. But, Fremantle do perform decently without Fyfe, which is why I think Adelaide will be a decent side without Dangerfield. But still, I don't think it is unreasonable to suggest Adelaide will miss finals because of the loss of a player like Dangerfield
This is how many crows fans are thinking about it. We lose Dangerfield but gain b crouch. Of course it's not like for like and b crouch has a lot to prove still, but it's not all doom and gloom and touch wood what some think is a gaping hole may not be so drastic after all.

Pendlebury would be a huge loss for Collingwood, but manageable with the addition of Treloar. Still a huge loss though. Dangerfield is a huge loss too, but I don't know much about B Crouch so I can't comment on whether or not he'll be a decent replacement for him.I think Fyfe is a bad comparison simply because he is Fyfe. So alternatively, imagine taking pendles out of Collingwood. How far backwards would they go. But what if at the same time treloar was coming in? Clearly different players but does that offset the loss to a degree?

Whilst a lot of crows supporters wil tell you it's about sharing the load, changing the game style to suit the playing group and natural improvement across the list, the fact is if b crouch has another injury setback then there will be many tears on the crows board (including mine).
You're welcome to go and find another thread...Can we start up another thread for the Adelaide fans to get defensive in?
This round 1 tipping thread has more posts about the crows prospects through the year than it does about round 1 tips.

Yarran looks like he's been feasting on KFC and Maccas every day since he left carltonTigers def. Blues - 38 points. Tigers will be in cruse mode. I am bullish about the blues but the ball zips out to easy in the F50 and yarran and Houli will feast on it.

Isn't he injured for six weeks?Really, Since he left Carlton ?
Carlton is the only club that had 10 in a fat club. Unfortunately, Yaz was a victim of the fat factory that is the blues. He is tracking well now though![]()
