I missed the top 1000 by like 10 or 20 spots last year, so I want it this year. But I'm going for the $50k, first year going proper GnR, no random shitty mid-pricers to waste my trades. First year using my head over my heart. Beers on me when I win

I'm also trying something different this year, and bias towards more value based, with the intention of being competitive come finals.

Curious as to why you think the rules would affect Grundy more than Gawn?

I think its the opposite tbh, Grundy has the aerobic capacity to be that link up player, almost like an extra mid at times and thats how he scored his big points the last couple of years.

I don't trust either of them with the straight out (C) this weekend due to the doubts, so think I'll be going Gawn (VC) Neale/Jelly (C) with Fyfe loop.

It was Kings assessment .....indicated a lot of Grundy's Marks were down the line kicks .....with the Statue Mark, teams will use the 45 degree kick more .....not as many down the line kicks & fewer boundary throw-ins

Apparently, according to King, Grundy doesn't take a lot of contested marks (sorry, my memory of the exact words)

In affect, King was saying, "which Grundy will we see this year" .....:can he modify his game"

I'm keeping Grundy, because the experts are wrong more often than not .....but I want to see him, B4 using a (VC) or (C)
