Usually a popular little thread over the years, I'm hardly surprised this hasn't kicked off on the back of Saturday's result. Nonetheless, it would be a shame if this competition missed round one's votes.
IIRC, Jack Redden won it last year, with Simon Black taking out this esteemed award in 2011.
As always, votes are awarded on 5,4,3,2,1 basis and for this week, counting will conclude say 12:00am Thursday. At the conclusion of voting, votes will be tallied and the highest vote getter awarded 5 votes, with the second 4 etc. If you are voting, please ensure you nominate one player per vote. We've had situations in the past when people have nominated more or less than 5 players. Yes, some weeks it is really hard to find 5 players, other weeks it is nigh on impossible fitting in 5 players only.
