Which teams have never met each other round 1?

Are there any?

I can imagine that with Richmond and Carlton meeting round 1 so often that they yet met Gold Coast and GWS.

Are there any of the Victorian teams that never met in Round 1? Or what is a very rare match up?

Richmond played Gold Coast in Round 1 in 2014 I believe. Don’t think Carlton met Gold Coast in Round 1 despite playing them in their first game ever.

I don’t think either side have played GWS in Round 1.

For Richmond, we have not played University, Port Adelaide, GWS and Brisbane (Lions) in Round 1. We’ve played Brisbane Bears and everyone else in Round 1.
