Davey definately in my book. I don't think any of the others will play but Jetta with 3 goals tonight and Houli who performed solidly against Carlton should be pressing for selection early in the season.

Davey is a definite in my book. After the practice match, Jetta might get a game, but I doubt it.

Davey is the ONLY one.

We all saw what happened 3 years ago when we debuted 3 players in the one game interstate in the opening game of the year against Port.

Davey has had more hype, but I actually thought he looked more AFL ready and poised in the Darwin game than Davey did, and by the sounds of things, was very impressive against West Coast.

If we are looking at being pretty much full strength, there may only be room for a max of 1, perhaps none at all.

Yeah I reckon you're right there Smokin. Probably only Davey for a start.
It won't hurt the young guys to get some games at Bendigo.
I just hope that they can play solid, consistent footy and earn a shot at it at some stage during the year. There should be some pressure to perform on a weekly basis for those in the senior side.
I have been impressed with Houli, Jetta sounds exciting & I liked the look of Hislop in the Darwin match - good size.
