And would he score more points than what we might concede with him not back there? Does the ball rebound forward as often or as well without him back there driving that rebound?

We currently need him back there to do those things for us. No doubt his prowess as a forward hasn't been forgotten by Clarko. But until Scrimshaw and/or O'Brien are ready to take on responsibility for that role, or we can trade/sign someone who can do it then down back is where he'll need to be.

For now the best we can hope for is that he can push up high and kick a goal from outside 50 like he did the other week.
