There is contested ball winners so-called hard campaigners around the ball. Wines, Rockliff, those types.
But then there are genuine terriers in Butters and Powell-Pepper. Ignited and brought it.
Got them around the ball around the third quarter and the rest of the team fed off the pressure.

Ladhams tap work was poor. Consistently tapped it to the Bulldogs players. Sort that out and he will be an absolute weapon.

Haven't seen it mentioned but one of my favourite moments tonight was Amon and Woodcock on the wing going forward, and Woodcock didn't really have the experience to know that he needs to block for Amon in that situation. Amon did side steps to create some space and ended up handballing to and blocking for Woodcock who streamed forward. We got a goal out of that.

Feels like Ladhams is always in two minds of taking the ball out of the ruck or tapping. Also needs way more body strength.

The Golden God had a great almost game. Definitely should have nailed that set shot and stuck a couple more grabs but so many good signs from MItch.
