Utter rubbish re Mitchell. Remember going out to Linda Crescent to watch a preseason session in 2002. Boys did a two lap time trial which is roughly 900 metres give or take. As expected, Timmy Clarke brained the field, Crawford was around second around 20 metres behind and 3rd was Sam Mitchell - daylight to fourth and the remaining list. It became patently clear at that point that Mitchell was training his ass off both in the gym and on the track and was set to have a massive season which he obviously did. For someone as unathletic as he is, he turned himself into an elite midfielder who could run all day

Hallahan has far superior athletic attributes to Mitchell and arguably just as good skills. His poor showings on the track are clearly a lack of desire to get the most of himself. A good source has told me straight out that his work ethic at St Kevins was really poor. Said he was a is a good kid but just liked mixing his sports (elite cricketer) and didn't have the burning desire to succeed at any one individual sport. His younger brother is apparantly worse so no surprises he wasn't drafted despite having the talent.

Perhaps the penny has finally dropped for Ollie?? - if so well worth perservering with as evidenced on Sunday

Hallahan?????

Ollie got picked up in the 2016 rookie draft. The fact that he can dominate a quarter of footy, given what he has shown over the journey, is ordinary to say the least.

Another good win by the hawks. The BHH boys played well again. Some of these players are going better than our listed players.

Interesting that Sam did not mention Fergus Green who was super dangerous and set the scene in the first half. Was unstoppable. Keeping a lid on him? Mods delete this post not sure why I put it up. Blame the pinot.
