From my calculations Melbourne would need to score 77 points & keep WC scoreless to go past us.

For every point West Coast scores, things get harder for Melbourne.

If West Coast score 15 points, Melbourne need to score 120.

God i love this team. Its hard to think of any side, men's or women's, that has played
with such commitment and such an even spread of effort. Cathy Svarc is a phenomenon.
Ditto Courtney Hodder, Nat Grider, Bre Koenen...too many to list. Loved Dakota's game.
The team defence is something to behold. Their tackling has become really smart and well timed.

If I was a coach at any level above under 12s, men or women, I would tell my players to go and watch a sample of Lions season 7 AFLW games to see the effect of team defensive pressure on an opposition’s ability to play their game plan. At its best, it is the absolute peak of what is possible.
