The evidence is now overwhelming that the mindset isn't right. Doesn't mean we can't correct it but to get it to the level we had last year is getting unrealistic

Huge loss with the Hawks away next week.

Hopefully this is the wake up call we need, we look a tad comfortable too often during games, like it is just going to happen for us.

Need to think about Kai’s position in the 1’s. Maybe needs a couple of games in the 2’s to get match fit.

When the team is winning by a few goals they start taking things for granted. Deviate from game plan and start just kicking blindly and going to 2v1 etc. One other glaring issue is the total lack of physicality. A lot of corralling.

Heaps of dropped marks and turnovers inside 50 than usual as well. Not enough leading for the guy kicking in either.

win-loss probably starting to more accurately reflect how well we have been playing. more of a collective team wide drop off than anything you can point to and say needs correcting. hope the plan is to build and gain form in the back half of the year.

5 day break to now face Hawks at the MCG. 3 weeks without a win is a real possibility. Need a huge wake up call, but if it didn’t happen last week, I don’t know what will.

Everyone keeps saying they’re just waiting for us to flick the switch, but maybe this is just us this year.

I keep harping back to it but we l’ve lost our most important structural piece and most mercurial forward. We are having to win games the hard way, which seems to be taking a lot out of us.

I think we’ll comfortably make the finals and maybe once we’re there we’ll be a threat given our history, but I think that will say more about the competition as a whole then it does about this years team right now.

We've been flirting with our form and lacking intensity for periods during games all year.
