It's not what I think. But good try at changing what this is really about:

You could have said you don't agree. But you just had to take the, "you're a racitts, and I'm morally superior".

I don't agree with that poster, but you need to be reminded that people are sick of the BS. People like you have no idea how much of a punish you are to deal with.
“I have no problem, given it's not going to make a difference, playing him in this game for that reason” reads like agreeing to me.

This is going to be my last post on it.

If anyone suggests that a player is only being played because of their race from here on in, they’re getting an infraction.

No diatribes about guilt, or finding god, or people being sick of BS is impacting that. Have a good day.

McQualter said on his 7News spot he was happy with TKs game

9 score involvements is a good start in a new position
The what did McQualter say!? I'm no Kelly basher but his poor effort and attitude last week was so obvious it has to be bad for team morale playing him. Should have been dragged at half time and replaced by Gross and no way he should be anywhere near the team this week.

it's more disagreeing than agreeing. But let's suppress speech and move on.

He had 9 score involvements, the most of the team/game.

If he'd kicked at least one of those goals, he'd have been a hero.

He didn't, so now people think his game was garbage.

It was fine. He can be useful in that position and it gets him out of the middle.

On the basis of the "eye test" I thought TK had a poor game - and that was mainly on the back of his inability to convert. I didn't feel like he impacted the game elsewhere but I'll admit I don't see everything that happens on the field. Hearing the score involvement stat was surprising and fair to say McQualter seems like a very stats driven coach and would be happy with what he saw in that regard with Kelly. Hopefully it's just a bit of an adjustment with him playing a different role and he can build on that in the coming weeks.

I thought similar, so I was surprised to see in the video that he actually had a very tidy game. Had he nailed his two shots at goal he'd almost warrant votes as that would've been pretty a solid game for a HFF

We torched them in the first derby last year and were competitive in and arguably should've won the second.

I'll be there and I'll be flipping everyone off and doing my part early to set the tone for the buoys.

🖕🖕 Austin 3:16 💀

Yep & while ~15 touches on the HFF seems underwhelming compared to what he used to get on ball, 9 of those touches resulted in a score. That's v solid.

yep it was actually a reasonable game as a HFF. Kelly needs to start nailing those goals tho.

Ironically its the position most of us have been wanting him to play for yonks.

I was gonna say that seems like a good stat despite his apparent invisible-ness. Good start, now hit the scoreboard TK

Yeah I'm not sure what game people were watching, or if they just saw Kelly had 15 touches and 0.2, but he played well at HF.

Very unusual to be calling for him to be dropped after he's finally been moved out of the middle and played a good game.

I didn't watch the game live (at airport and on a plane), so got to watch it dispassionately after reading all the frothing and ranting about how bad it was. I actually thought we were pretty good, but let down by several blunders and players missing easy-ish goals. That happens. I rarely comment on umpiring as there is no conspiracy against us, but the umpiring of Harley is a real issue.

As for Kelly, he started really well and then disappeared (comparatively to his start). The issue when he disappears (and I was also surprised by his score involvements), is he seems to have no impact on the game, doesn't two way run and his tackling is limp. He certainly didn't have a shocker and, with a role change, he is unlikely to be dropped. But we expect more of one of our most talented and senior players. To be honest, he just looks unhappy/like he isn't enjoying his footy (which isn't surprising given we have been getting flogged for years but isn't good enough for a senior player).

I can't see Kelly being dropped but Archer needs a spell in the WAFL (and I think a change of role to play back) and Gross needs to play a full game. There is also no point having a sub, if you are only going to bring him on 10 minutes before the end.

I don't like the two rucks, but it actually worked ok on Sunday and, for all his faults, BBW kicked some goals so not sure what else he could do. I think we will persist with the two rucks for now.

For sure I'd pair him with Waterman for the week for goal kicking practice. I turned to my Dad during the game and said finally Mini has put Kelly HFF like every nuff on BF has been saying forever lol

Am I crazy for thinking if Gov isn't right for selection this week he probably shouldn't be doing these types of events either?

Well we could be seeing Kelly for a couple more years lol

I hope he does a 3 can funnel skull at the event. Sub 2.7 seconds.

Let TK settle into his role (hopefully) as HFF, it's what everyone's been calling for.
Have Harley, Hewett, Gross, Ryan, Brockman et al around the mid to develop some chemistry. I wonder how long the Mini experimentation will continue with player positions - surely there comes a time to settle and develop some chemistry?

Ryan was a revelation, my only concern is his small stature when it comes to big bodied pile-ons - but he's what we need in the guts, speed and swerveability...

Why not? Is he going to be running into blokes at the pub?

Hopefully he'll be depth by next year by next year. If Hewett, Gross, Brockman and Long continue to build and Champion starts knocking on the door, opportunities for players like Kelly should be limited.

Is that confirmed as the reason we are holding him back, because they're worried about a second head impact? It's a contact sport, so if that's the case he may need to hang up the boots.

I assumed he had ongoing symptoms related to the concussion and may need to be spending time in a quiet area of the house, dimly lit etc...

Out: Edwards
In: Allan

Missed the game but watched some extended highlights and was furious with some of Edwards efforts. I cannot see a future for him at the club - is just not upto it.

Cole on thin ice too - couple of his defensive efforts were deplorable. Standing in the back 50 without a man and Richmond hit up the player he should have been on. Terrible from a so called senior player.

Playing him as an unaccountable half forward who doesn't get the ball... Doesn't tackle... And can't finish... Just to give him a game over a younger player reeks..

Him and Duggan and Cole have had about half a season of crap play.

Expose the youth... You never know... They could bloody infect the side with energy.

It can't get worse really

I don't actually have confidence that his accuracy will improve. His kicking action is a bit unorthodox (I don't know if it's always been like that), looks like he's dragging the toes of his kicking foot along the ground sometimes, and often has a very short follow through and straightens his leg too early. Have a close look at his field kicking to others and you'll see there's an unnatural look about it which probably explains why he's shanked it so much the last couple of years and has kicked 4.14 since round 1 last year

Not to mention the absurdity of being forced to switch the midfielder we sold the farm for with one of the most creative small forwards in the competition. Just drop him, get development into a young mid and stop expecting Ryan to cover him.
