Where's the passion gone Ken!?
35,508 was the figure that put up at the ground but only 33,508 according to the Sunday Mail. The SMA tax is less than usual.Wrist Slashers, what's going on - you told me there was less than 20k at the ground.
DATE EVENT STADIUM CROWD 17/05/2025 AFL: Port Adelaide v Geelong Cats Adelaide Oval 35,508
I've stayed at Portarlington when catching the ferry from Queenscliff but doubt too many Port Adelaide supporters have been to St Leonards on the Bellarine Peninsula.Completely different St Leonards. The one to which I refer is between Portarlington and Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria. Sort of a shanty village.

He's just trying to change the narrative to a list one and not a Hinkley one again. Not sure wtf Kane is on about regarding not going to the draft the last few years at the top end.
2020 they got Jones. 2021 they got Sinn. In 2022 they traded for JHF who at 1 year of experience was essentially bringing in another first round pick to the club. 2023 was a bad trade period given what they paid for Soldo and Ratugolea in particular, though the latter is having a very good season imo and looks to have found his niche down back. Then they invested heavily in last year's draft, acquiring Berry and Whitlock with high picks.
Every list has holes, and if you looked at each list forensically, I don't think any of us would come to the conclusion that Port's list management has held them back from contending.
He ranks about 50,000th on that list behind the Chairman, Board, President, Head of Football and every paying member.Kane failing to state the obvious, hes one of the chief enablers of our current predicament.
But with his high media profile and pro hinkley stance he deserves a special badge of merit. He ranks about 50,000th on that list behind the Chairman, Board, President, Head of Football and every paying member.
He’s undoubtedly wrong and diverting again, but I challenge any current paying member to suggest they aren’t a bigger problem than a few words Kornes says in the media. Money talks louder than words and not enough “Port people” have done the right thing by abandoning this regime. Koch understands dollars, he doesn’t understand football. But with his high media profile and pro hinkley stance he deserves a special badge of merit.
More development physically and tacticallyNot sure wtf Kane is on about regarding not going to the draft the last few years at the top end.

Yeah. He talks as though Hinkley would have had no say at all in list management.
Not really game related but before the match I was waiting for a couple of friends to arrive at the Guardsman for a drink next to the railway station. In the distance I saw a dishevelled unshaven gentleman walking towards me. My fist thought was he was homeless. Was wearing what looked like a dirty faded stained non-fitting t-shirt, carrying a plastic shopping bag and initially I thought we was barefoot until I saw he was wearing an old pair of sandles as he got closer.
My first thought was this person was going to ask me for some money and I thought do I do a good deed for the day and help someone down on their luck out with a few bucks. Instead they walked straight past me and I then realised it was Rucci.
Just feels strange to think this is the person who is probably penning an article for the Port Website as we speak telling us what a wonderful job the club is doing and how great Ken is.
Yes, they do.
The description could've easily fit Hinkley. Not really game related but before the match I was waiting for a couple of friends to arrive at the Guardsman for a drink next to the railway station. be nice if one of the journos asks this question of him during his next presser and then holds him to account with a proper answer or re-asks the question when he avoids the answer
jimmys spot on
Yes, the infamous Lennies disco wasn't it? Heard much about it in my time in Adelaide, but never experienced.I've stayed at Portarlington when catching the ferry from Queenscliff but doubt too many Port Adelaide supporters have been to St Leonards on the Bellarine Peninsula.
The St Leonards Inn was infamous in its day but is now the Watermark and there's a sports bar where the disco used to be.
I don't mind this - he's on old school journalist. I don't listen to Rucci on the radio because I can't stand Kym Dillon - but I like that Michelangelo hasn't changed over the years. He's a scrubber not a white sneaker Mum ironed my pants and blazer kind of guy.Not really game related but before the match I was waiting for a couple of friends to arrive at the Guardsman for a drink next to the railway station. St Leonard's was a bikie's pub back in the day pre Lenny's. I was a Bay Disco on Sunday night galI've stayed at Portarlington when catching the ferry from Queenscliff but doubt too many Port Adelaide supporters have been to St Leonards on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Come again? You don’t mind that he takes absolutely no pride in his appearance and looks homeless.I don't mind this - he's on old school journalist. Maybe you should start wearing a suit while posting. Nobody will ever take the pish out of you again.Come again? You don’t mind that he takes absolutely no pride in his appearance and looks homeless.
If you can’t take pride in your appearance than he probably doesn’t take much pride in his work and therefore why should anyone take him seriously.
Yeah? Okay….Maybe you should start wearing a suit while posting. Nobody will ever take the pish out of you again.
He was a print journalist and now he's on radio, neither career known for much more than jeans and a t-shirt. He strikes as being very much into his work and possibly doesn't do much else but work. I don't know him though so maybe I've got that completely wrong.Come again? You don’t mind that he takes absolutely no pride in his appearance and looks homeless.
