Absolutely haven't clicked together at all this year for all the faith we have in our tall forward line their giving us 9 marks per game inside 50 just not enough .
It worked ok against Collingwood. The big space of the MCG probably helps, ridiculous we've only played there twice so far.

Technically, they provide us less. Averages including Jack (but not Levi as he’s spent a heap of time down back).

McKay: 2.0 marks inside 50, 1.8 goals, 1.4 behinds
Curnow: 0.7 Mi50, 0.7 g, 0.5 b
McGovern: 1.5 Mi50, 1.8 g, 0.5 b
Silvagni: 1.0 Mi50, 1.2 g, 0.4 b

Thats a total of 5.2 marks inside 50, 5.5 goals and 2.8 behinds per game. Rounding up, that’s 39 points, or about 55% of our total scoring. Not too bad a bad return, even with Charlie clearly having a rough start to his year.

Despite being ranked last for inside 50s and marks inside 50 we’re actually rated 9th for inside 50 efficiency and 5th for goal accuracy.

When you factor in our typically low quantity (and often quality) of our forward entries and it certainly highlights the scope for improvement. Imagine if Charlie gets on a tear and our kids can get the ball and move it forward in a way that favours our big guys up forward...

Yes I can see the potential and it will improve one would hope but you can dress it up anyway you like our tall forwards are all we've got we get very little scoreboard pressure from our mids and small forwards so if our talls aren't marking it inside 50 enough generally we will struggle to win games as we are seeing .
