Just so 82...Three of four of those MCG games are from before 2000. The record is basically irrelevant IMO
We've beaten them there quite a few times in Melbourne just on the other side of town.
Shitloss2024, lost by a point after leading all game, and lost our chance
to play finals
Yoga? That was at Marvel though, but still, that is the game that sits in the back of my mind and makes me nervous.

Should have sacked him then! Most. Frustrating. Game. Ever.
We missed finals basically because that game too. Pretty sure I was calling for us to sack JL after that game - like just because of that game.
And yes, I've been critical of slow ball movement under JL and said we needed to move him on but that day was a level I barely get to. Generally keep comments like that on here for Monday to Friday when my emotions are more in check.
Sophisticated? use of stats...but no thanks,True, but that was also a long time ago.
I've been to lots of freo losses against Essendon where we've been favourites.
- Essendon then won six straight Victorian meetings from 2010–2021.
- Fremantle broke that streak with a 48-point win at Docklands in 2022.
- Essendon won the latest Victorian clash by 1 point at the MCG in 2024.
Bombers somehow smashed Melbourne and got extremely close to Suns on their deck and GWS on their deck. Getting smashed by Brisbane isn't a surprise, lions will do that to most non finalists, but the Collingwood smashing was unforgivable.
Our biggest margin away from home is 12 points, which was supposed to be against an injured doggies team that we supposedly were going to smash.
In no way am I talking us down, just saying this will be a lot closer than people think.
Trumps in China...anything can happen?Yeah put me down for wont be a smashing but that's mainly because of the weather. Will still be a comfortable win
Unless Simpson has been playing wing at WAFL level, they aren’t really playing the same position right nowInteresting that Simpson didn't even get named on the extended bench with Wags out. The club really don't have him in their sights at th moment.
We really need to find a spot for him in the team. Even if all he offered was distribution off half back he would be such a weapon ala ZorkoUnless Simpson has been playing wing at WAFL level, they aren’t really playing the same position right now

Mods, you know the rules. That game was a dead set nightmare.
Along side the loss to the Dees when close to 60 points in front just prior to 1/2 time.

Hopefully not, hopefully we win by 50+Another shitwin coming up then?

our last 12 months suggests well win the game, but even if we lose, a blip on the radar is not the end of the world. we know how we stack up now and i reckon we have most of our game in order and losing the odd game wont be the end of the world. Why is every game a danger game when we are playing well?
