Whilst most of WA and the WA media are going crazy over the form of the Eagles. I mean yeah they are on a roll but look at their draw.........far dinkum they are beating teams below them from last year and some from this year. These days if a team finishes in the bottom half of the eight - then the following season they get an easy draw s in playing the weaker teams twice. The draw is almost like a handicap where the teams who finish in the top eight get a tougher draw compared to those teams who finish in the bottom eight. Example........West Coast Eagles. Nice easy draw tehy got cos they finished in the bottom eight.

It was highlighted by port Adelaide last year with their draw.

I'm expecting your boys to give them a reality check in a few weeks. Not sure if Norf are up to it at the moment.

I hope Richmond have fair old crack in this game and the game against West Coast.

I'd be a bit more worried about the Tiges but they're coming off consecutive six day breaks and are flying over. I think that makes our slog in the wet last week less of an issue.

Didn't realise that. That evens the ledger, if not tips it in our favour.

I don't think there'll be anything interesting on the team sheets this arvo. I expect Spurr to be named and given until Friday night to prove his fitness. Mzungu to come in if Spurr doesn't come up.

Spurr is in ripping form when it comes to keeping his man quiet.

If he's gonna miss a game though, this might be the one. The Tigers don't really have any established small forwards. Morris is pretty hopeless, Martin can rest forward but it robs their midfield of its x-factor, same can be said of Deledio.

Feeling quietly confident we'll account for them quite comfortably.

tbh i think we should give Brady Grey a run and start Sheridan, and start Grey as sub?

Only if spurr pulls up tight

I suspect the match committee is more likely to reward form in the WAFL and promote Mzungu, Crozier, Weller or Blakely. Most likely Mzungu.

RTB said earlier in the week that if he was to miss the likely inclusion comes from Mz, DeBoer and Crozier.

Should be intresting when Lee is back fit 110% will anyone be willing to offer their spot !!! nooooo

I think Spurr has now got the runs on the board. Unless the player that comes in does something Fyfesque* then Spurr would slot back in.

Is it just me or is every game referred to as a 'danger game' when you're undefeated?

As a supporter the nerves definitely build every week that goes by without a loss, wondering when it'll come- having said that the Tigers certainly fancy their chances & plenty of others talking them up too so I'm happy to share a bit of the pressure & expectancy with them this week.

Head down, bum up & all that.

We will lose eventually, but it won't be to the Tigers. They're full of confidence and have played well over here in the past, but I don't respect them enough to cause any real damage.

Watch out for Hawks in North Antarctica however.

Tigers got the run, and seem to match very well against us obviously of late. Hard game nevertheless

I guess 'danger game' doesn't have a clear definition, but it seems to be used when a team is playing another team that it should beat e.g. is well bellow them on the ladder, but is 'dangerous' and could quite possibly buck the trend/odds and get the win. Ergo, when you're undefeated like us, pretty much every game is a danger game.

Every week 8-10 pages of discussion for possible changes to the sub or speculation as to who is injured/may need replacing or how we possibly squeeze games into Sherro, Croz lest they leave at year end or why Mzungu isn´t in only for the official team sheet to come out with no changes.

Sheridan named on the field.

One of Sutcliffe or Suban to be the sub. Or, potentially whoever comes in for Spurr if he's a late out in Mzungu or Crozier.
