Round 10 Trades

My thoughts on Hutchings' JS:
- Waters comes in for Dalziell this week. That's a lock. Hutchings strong case to be sub. Hard to see him getting a full game.
- In r11 players who could take Hutchings' spot: Embley, Dick, Hams, Dalziell. I think he'd be a 50/50 chance to play r11. I think the only player that Hutchings may leapfrog is Sheppard.
- in r13 onwards i think they are hoping Dick plays.
- once Wellingham is back I can't see Hutching staying in. But this isn't until round 15.

So in summary, his JS IMO is tough to work out. I'm going staker instead.

Will probably just field Blicavs and hope for a half decent score, got so many other issues other than Luey.

Any danger that Sam Rowe could come back in, that would be an absolute lifesaver.

You too Brad Crouch, you're required this week.

Has been playing down back in the VFL, but I think Watson would be ahead of him. For forwards, Casboult is well ahead (dominating VFL)

Leuenberger > ?
  • Clarke (ADEL)
  • Kreuzer (GWS)
  • Bailey (MELB)
  • Gorringe (GEE)
  • Grimley (MELB)
Rockliff > ?
  • Stevie J (GC) (only if Gorringe/Grimley in)
  • Roughead (MELB)
  • Stokes (GC)
  • Lewis (MELB)
  • Boomer (STK)
  • Robinson (GWS)

Casboult in, Warnock out. Kreuzer into my DT.

Wishful thinking I know but it would solve the Lueunburger problem.

I cant be the only one to think is Buddy too good to pass up @ $380k?

Am gonna wait until after the hawthorn bye personally. Other priorities this week

Carnage this week. JE. and SUS. It's all about getting bodies on the park, it feels like the bye round's come a week early!

I've got Terlich, Rockliff, and Daw to worry about. No word on Terlich, but I'm not taking the risk. Have to keep Neade on my bench (!) as cover, and cop his price drop. Rockliff benched for Kerridge. Then there's Daw and Rowe...
Should I go

1. Terlich > Staker
Neade > Priddis

This leaves me with a 9/9/12.

2. Terlich > Staker, Evans > Watson. Giving me a 10/7/13!!! Argh, but solace in Jobe..

If Daw is in fact named, then he's out. Daw > Gorringe probably.

no you are not. I'm tossing up between NitNat and Buddy, but I'm just not convinced if Buddy has turned the corner yet. Decisions decision...

Same here and keep changing my mind, not confident on either, but at the moment leaning toward nic nat being more consistent, just worry i will miss buddy killing melbourne and getting on a run home for the year

someone pointed out earlier it might be a better option to get Buddy after the bye, which I tend to agree. For me it's worth watching him one more game, even if it means missing out on his (possible) awesome score this week.

Ive got luey, rockliff, terlich out. Thinking luey>goldstien. Whats are peoples thoughts of keeping terlich hes been in good form latley and shouldnt be out for too long apparently. Then either macaffer or dyer > staker. Or im tempted to go lonergun > hutchins but not sure of hid JS.

Should i keep dyer or mcaffer? might even get goldstien next week. Dont know what to do atm

I'm not either, but if he hasn't, he wouldn't be the worst F6 going around..!

Why are people bringing in Hrovat next week when he's got the bye and not expected to rise in price until the week after? He has only played the one game so far right?

Is it just a case of people being better prepared for the byes/teams performing better than mine? :(

Given the way Hrovat played and the overall lack of quality depth at the Dogs, he's almost guaranteed a game provided he's fit. Contrast this with Hutchings (WCE), who has questionable job security. Hrovat will get rested from time to time, but he'll be back in as soon as his body can cope with it.

Bye-wise and price increase wise, there is no point bringing in Hrovat until after Rnd 11, once the Dogs have had their bye. But if you are looking to generate cash to upgrade, he's a potential option. Depending on who you are trading out, you may end up with the same bye structure, but additional cash this week.

Given the Luey, Terlich, Rocky issues, there may be higher priorities....

With Terlich listed as a test this week, I've gone JJK to SJ and Wines to Staker and moved Brent Goodes into the middle. Holding Berger till R12 for Minson I would think. Then next week I'll downgrade Goodes to Hrovat and probably Sam Rowe to Kyle Martin if Kyle plays this week which I believe he will.

This will allow me to stock pile plenty of cash for the byes in R12 and R13 and hopefully give me enough cash to make 4 upgrades over the bye periods (Berger to Minson, Priddis to Boyd/Cotchin/Barlow, Terlich to Duff and Jaeger to another gun mid)

Yeah Crouch in would be great. It's a possibility at least. I'd give it less than 50% chance though.

Rowe would be even better. Lee is also sitting on my bench doing sfa.

Rockliff, Ellis, Terlich, Leuey. Couldn't get much worse (lol)

Most on here seem to be going with a cheap ruck option.

I'm going opposite had plans to eventually upgrade Leuenberger came down to Roughead vs Goldstein

My trades are now:

Leuenberger --> Roughead
Neade --> Franklin

Means though I will have most likely Terlich & Pittard injured on my back bench and having to play Thurlow which is a concern after his 29. Hopefully he is not dropped or my plans will change again.

just looking through the leagues im in, and most people are going to be trading to avoid 1 or more donuts. Looks like a low scoring round already.

I'm the same on both accounts. Talk on the Hawks board is that Roughy may be rested? I doubt it, but it would surely finger my weekend. If Roughy does play against Melbourne he could score massive.
