Round 10 Trades

Two trades for this round are as follows:

Judd > Cotchin (Palmer will therefore start and Cotchin will be on the bench instead)

Scarlett > Johncock

Kornes captain. Disappointing last week but should have a good game.

Are there any $83 grand mids worth picking for the 9th position. Have Wellingham, and Cotchin is just too expensive.
In the same boat. Cotchin seems too expensive to do a Bird to Cotchin trade (only get about $57k in the bank). The only other option I can see is Josh Kennedy (Hawthorn, $83k). But how likely is he to hold his position when Crawford/Mitchell come back in ??

I did two trades this round, with another couple coming next week so I can get my best team ASAP now that a fair few of my cows have peaked...
Nathan Jones (MLB) --> Joel Corey (GEE)
Ryan Gamble (GEE) --> Ryan Davis (WCE) (For cash, going to be my last forward EMG)

Definite Salopek to Bartel, with a bit of luck I could trade down to that, and even though Salopek has been on fire I have desperately wanted Bartel in my team from the start. Also thinking Waters -> McLoed might be an option, because I am sick of Waters giving me crap score after crap score. Had to decide between Waters and Birchall at the start of the year, chose Waters. Thought I was a genius after Round 3 .

:confused::confused::confused:

Why would anyone want to get rid of Salopek who's averaging 98???

Waters -> Mcleod is like saying i'll swap shit for some turds.

Terrible trades.

There is a mentality on this board that if you pick up a player relatively cheap, you must upgrade them no matter how well they go.
Yep. Some people want to trade Stevens too

I have been guilty of this thinking too, it's like "wow we picked a bargain, its only a matter of time before he gets bad so we'll be kicking ourselves if we don't upgrade him now even though he is playing as good as the 'gun' to upgrade to".

That's why, to counter this, I am not trading Palmer, Porplyzia or Stevens.....not in the foreseeable future anyway.

Throw in the tosspots wanting to get rid of Burton after last weeks score.

Not trading Bird for a while yet - he'll keep climbing for a couple of weeks yet after todays 70.

I'll trade him when he tops out to about 200 K and there's a juicy cash cow option coming up.

Gibbs had a B/E of 67 (Averaging 81)
Kornes had a B/E of 136 (Averaging 97)

I think you've traded a week to early. I'll be doing Gibbs to Kornes this week.

:thumbsu: Gibbs' timing has been great..... Gibbs > Bartel this week for me! :)

Armfield before Round 12? He's also available as a back. He looked every bit an AFL player on the weekend.
