want to make 2 downgrades this week to get some $$$.

looking at valenti for Dew (will still have tippet as 8th back)

then looking at trading Jack out for either wellingham or cotchin. Know im a week late on wellingham, but im thinking he still looks better value than Cotchin.

any advise on cotchin vs wellingham?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... playing Gamble on the field at the moment, so definitely looking for an upgrade this week - really don't know who for under $406k though!

This weeks trades will be:
Jack --> Cotchin
his scores haven't been amazing so far but you can see that he is going to be an awesome player. I think Selwood started a bit slower last season and I can see him picking up in a few weeks.
Jetta --> Riewoldt
Volt still has a high break even but with the Saints playing the Dees I think he might score big. Will probably still drop in price but I think Jetta will too and the difference in price saving between getting him this week and next week won't be worth the lost points. Did it look like the injury was giving him any trouble on the weekend?

Yeah I would keep Palmer at least for a while. It might be worth waiting a few weeks until ebert tops out and then just decide which ellite mid is the best value. Ablett/Corey/Bartel might have a shocker between now and then....

I'm leaving Rioli in the team for a while but I have BJ and JB already

Yea agree, you need to keep 6 or 7 minimum until later into the season.

I'd be keeping Palmer. If you look at the difference in the past 4 weeks beterrn him and Corey it's minimal, so IMO it's a waste with the amount of trades you have left.

Yea, Cotchin will definitely be worth the extra cash, especially if you plan on making him your 7th centre for the rest of the year.

Should average at least 70 in the second half of the year.

KK i will probably keep palmer and upgrade ebert to the best (ablett)

Advice Required:

Current Team:

BACKS - C.Cornes, Shaw, Kennelly, McLeod, Goddard, Gilbee, Ibbotson (Hartlett, N.Brown)
MIDS - K.Cornes, Ablett, Judd, Goodes, Stevens, Palmer (Browne, Bird)
RUCKS - Cox, Simmonds (Kreuzer, Gardiner)
FORWARDS - J.Brown, B.Johnson, Riewoldt, Pavlich, Chapman, Franklin, Gamble (Tippett, C.Stokes)

$49200 in bank with 8 trades left.

Plan to trade one of my ruckmen later in the season (near finals) to any 72k ruckman provided my other 3 are playing and use that cash for the final "top ups".

Have some major concerns with my 7th forward of Gamble/Tippett if they have another week like last week.

Could trade them both for Valenti and someone like Giansiracusa or S.Johnson but am worried that a Valenti/C.Stokes bench may leave me with 2 non-playing reserves later in the season.

Also worried about the long term future of my midfield Bench of Bird and Browne so perhaps Cotchin should come in for Bird?

Any suggestions? If I trade one of Gamble or Tippett, which one should I trade?
 
Will be doing Hill -> Valenti then bringing in one of Hayes, Thompson or Swan. Leaning towards Leonard at the moment. Slow start but he's in fine form of late.

I wish I had trades to burn. Gilbee would be out for McLeod in a flash.

McLeod has never been a great DTer, especially off HB. He is supposedly carrying an injury atm also. Speaking of Gilbee, also have him and my backs are crap. Which two to get rid of from: Mattner, B.Jones and Gilbee?

There is talk of Gilbee may be even being dropped on the doggies board. Bones is too accountable to be a great DTer and Mattner isn't a good DTer (period). Can I get away with one of them being my 6th defender as I also have Ibbotson as well?

As for the rest of my team, it is pretty much set. My only 'iffy' player would be Palmer by next week but he is looking like a keeper.

Option 1
Leuenberger---> rookie
Kennelly--> Milburn
(at the moment i have myers and wona on the field with l hansen and kennelly on the bench)

Option 2
Leuy--> rookie
Rioli-->BJ to complete a forward line of Pav, Buddy, Chappy, Brown, S Johnson and Mooney (kept out of lack of trades with ibbo, palmer masten browne wona myers needing to be upgraded)

11 trades left with 8,700 in the bank.

Your right, hold on to him, but just for now. Unlike Selwood, Palmer is in line for a tag, seeing as though he is more of an outside player than Selwood, his score will be very low if he does get tagged. Anyone who has him and is starting him, i would advise to try to keep two trades or money in the bank plus a trade to upgrade him.
 
Narowed it down to 2 options

Week 1
Rioli -> BJ
Rioli -> BJ

Week 2
Palmer -> Corey
Nothing

Week 3
Ebert -> Murphy
Ebert -> Ablett

Outcome -> 4 trades left, only rookie is ibbotson, have myers, SSelwood, Browne, Wellingham, Kreuz, West, Gamble, Tippet on the pine, overall shuld average a little more than option 2

Outcome -> 5 trades left, will have to start Palmer, will have the best dter (ablett), same bench as 1

OPtion 1 -> Norman
Option 2 -> Bold

Which option do u think is the best and why. Thnx
