Round 10 Trades

Looking for a downgrade from Gamble, already have Valenti as a forward reserve.. Anyone else in this boat? Best option i think would have to be Neagle but with Lucas back who knows, plus Id prefer to get that extra cash by downgrading to an unadulterated rookie... Will Davis get games for the Eagles?

Looking to upgrade Gamble to a forward up to $406k. Obviously if I go someone cheaper, I can use the extra cash later, saving me a cash cow trade later.

Can't decide out of BJ or Riewoldt. Already have Brown, Pavlich, Deledio, Porpz, Chappy and Didak so they are all out. Want to make the trade THIS week, as there is doubt over Chappy again.

Main decision... Riewoldt or BJ? Given both are playing slightly injured, who is the better option? How will Riewoldt go in a struggling saints side??

Soooo badly want to pick up J. Brown or big Cox, but the back pain is chronic.

Osborne/Kennelly => H. Shaw (depending on news on Kennelly's injury)

T. Tuck => Cotchin

Going to trade Bartram to Cotchin

then gotta decide who to trade gamble for

either

I made two trade this week.

I traded out the injured Brad Symes and brought in Chad Cornes even though his break even is 132 this week. I have Waite in my team and his suspension meant that i would have to leave one player not playing so i picked Cornes to cover that gap.

Also i traded out Kurt Tippett for Shane Valenti (72,500). I think Tippett has done his job for me and i made about 130 K on that trade. Kurts break even this week is 72 and therefore i didn't think he would make it.

Thoughts ?

What if Valenti gets dropped and the chads hand injury flares up later in the week? Always wait until the teams are out!

Yeah I would go Thomas out of those guys. There is significant risk with all of them but if you can't afford a premium or need the money for somewhere else then I guess thats fair enough.

i'm in a horrible league so i will wait to cash in gardiner, griffen, jack, mackay, wona and edwards. a couple of the teams in this league have not broken the 1000 barrier! need to upgrade mcphee, armitage, gamble and dew. no need to rush though

Both proven options. BJ seems to be scoring OK despite rumours of a calcified calf (man I hope I haven't just cursed him), but Roo has played injured in the past, and the Saints have stuggled in the past. Who feels right to you? Remember if you go for Roo, you can wait a week or two given his score on the weekend.

I think you trade up to a premium, and none of them are premiums. I think wait until you have a premium option to trade in. What about a downgrade to a Valenti or similar, and use the cash for a second trade to a premium next week?

Think the trades were premature this early in the week. Tippett>Valenti is a reasonable trade, but if you're not fielding a zero, you could have traded Waite>Milburn/Goddard/P.Burgoyne/Fisher and then traded Symes>Cornes after the 132 BE. Remember that Symes doesn't lose you cash sitting on the bench injured, but Cornes is likely to lose some.

bakline is atm .

burgoyne, milburn, goddard, shaw, gram, birchall, johncock

and yeh gram is the one to be upgraded.

i think im going to wait another week to upgrade gram and get cornes when hes price drops.

the question is should i double downgrade a rookie, or upgrade either griffen palmer or kozi

Champ, you're doing well enough you don't need to be re-posting your requests for advice every week. Seriously. If you think you should wait another week and trade Cornes>Gram, then do it. Trust yourself, make a decision, and live/die by it.

As for downgrading a rookie - have you got a suitable downgrade target? If not, upgrade. As to who, which of them do you think you want to keep? Keep them and trade the other(s).

yeh i no sorry man, jus i end up doing what i first say i just like to hear other ideas if there are any

and for rookie i think im guna go with valenti

Yeah thanks for the feedback mate. Was v. bored last night and decided to make a trade, i haven't done one in over a month ! :p

Hopefully that doesn't happen !

Thanks for the feedback ! :)

On the bench i have Nathan Brown and Albert Proud. Albert Proud won't play this week because his so damn unaccountable !

I would of waited a week (well that was the plan) until i heard that Jarrad Waite is going to miss this weeks game so i couldn't have three 0's (Waite, Symes, Proud) hence why i made the trade. What do you think now ?

CARNTHEEAGLES !

need help! inexperienced.

100k in bank. 8 trades left. myers only real concern with rioli, palmer and b jones the only other possibly future removals.

  1. first trade this week will be stokes to valenti to have a forward emergency.
=150k in bank, 7 trades left

2.

  • OPTION 1 - trade rioli to brad johnson this round
=60k in bank 6 trades left, myers in starting line up for a while and will not be able to upgrade him to chornes later on

  • OPTION 2 - leave myers and rioli starting for 4 rounds and then downgrade browne to 82k and myers to chornes.
Which option will get most points and is the best? im leaning to option 2 but will myers or browne get dropped in the next 3 rounds?

Because like a heap of people, they think Cotchin will be the next Palmer.

Personally, I am leaving Cotchin alone, I don't have anyone that is ready to be used as a cash cow at the moment.

Exactly what i'm doing and exactly what people should be doing in our situation. Don't trade someone who has a b/e of 7 and still making money. Cotchin isn't a cash cow, he will sit on your bench and play IF someone in your mids gets a 1-3 week injury.

People who are getting Cotchin should be the people who have Bird, Jack, bench players that have pretty much peaked otherwise it is a waste of trade IMO.

Well Cornes will outscore Johnson and Rioli will outscore Myers so option 2 is the obvious choice mate :thumbsu:

Are there any rookie forwards under $100,000 other than Valenti? I rolled the dice and traded Valenti in when Hill was $226,000, so obviously Trading Tippet/Gamble to him is not an option...

Anyway, both of Tippet and Gamble are likely to depreciate this week, and I want to use one of them to fund another trade anyway...

Who to get?

Ok, realy don't know what to do this week, Could do Woneamirri to Cotchin because i need a solid 7th Mid, i know that Wooman hasn't peaked but i don't wan't to miss the boat with Cotchin. With the left over cash i can then trade Ellis to Cornes. Or Mcnamra to a mid around 370K. Here is my team, What do you boys think ?

Thanks...

Looking to upgrade Gamble this week and my 2 main options due to price and players already in my team are:

Nathan Brown or Daniel Giansiracusa?

Who would everyone choose out of Corey, Bartel and Ablett? Im leaning towards Corey because hes the cheapest and will/should avg between 100-110. Bartel has too many worries surrounding him at the moment and Ablett is a tad expensive but I can comfortably afford him. Your decisions?

well based on not knowing your team and trades and money not being an issue i would say ablett
