someone do this that sidestep was magicCan someone make a gif of Dusty's sidestep in the last, pure sex
It wasn't an acl injury morso a re occurance of soreness from a meniscus/bone on bone injury.Wasn't Doc Larkin the one who said Chaplin could have done an ACL just by watching him limp to the bench against the bullies last year only for Chaplin to return to the field.
Happy with minimal changes for the game v the bummers
Jacko might be ok- but if he isn't I'd be looking at the following who played well for our VFL side;
Arnot, Miles, OHanlon, Petterd ( played well in the ruck LOL) and big Ivan
Reckon Grigg didn't do enough to save his spot TBH

Yes, lets reward Thomas playing well by dropping him. So smart.Out: Thomas
In: Miles
He had enough chances against decent opposition to show us what he's made out of. A good game against kids means nothing. He's crap.
Was watching him pretty closely as I've got tickets on him but he really let himself down I reckon. For the most natural footballer the world has ever seen his kicks were all sort of vague floaters and he sold himself and others into a bit of trouble more than once. Put him in front of a massive DT crowd. I just don't know man.
No he wasn't, he was terrible. His games on Ablett and especially Pendlebury were embarassing. Let's celebrate a man whose best game came against the worst AFL side since Fitzroy. Smart.Yes, lets reward Thomas playing well by dropping him. So smart.
Not to mention he was one of or best when we were playing good opposition.
You are blinded by unjust hate.No he wasn't, he was terrible. His games on Ablett and especially Pendlebury were embarassing. Let's celebrate a man whose best game came against the worst AFL side since Fitzroy. Smart.

The hate is totally justified. You are blinded by stats. It's what he does with the ball that's the problem. I think it was the Bulldogs or Carlton game that he was obviously told not to kick the ball because it's embarrassing. We should be playing Miles instead. You are blinded by unjust hate.
29 disposals, 7 tackles v Gold Coast
21 Disposals, 11 tackles v Carlton.
21 Disposals, 5 tackles v Bulldogs
22 Disposals, 5 tackles v Collingwood
11 disposals, 8 tackles v Brisbane
28 disposals, 10 tackles v GWS
Looking at the stats hes only had 1 bad game.
-5th highest average tackles per game for the comp
-1st in average center clearances for Richmond
-2nd in averages clearances for Richmond
-2nd in average contested possessions for Richmond
-78% disposal efficiency
Also he averages less clangers than Cotch, so don't try to use that excuse.
Why should he be dropped in a side that has been struggling to win contested ball and clearances. Who will also probably lose our best contested ball player to injury this week?
It's not celebrating him but you can't drop him.
Would be ridiculous.
Not a fan,he goes to ground constantly, he puts teammates into trouble, he tries to do to much, he's slow.... But he is a contested ball beast among contested ball nothings and we need that from him.
He won't be around forever, he won't play every week, he's ideally suited against a physically immature team such as the Giants and not so much against the better bigger sides where he more than meets his match against far better players but right now he serves a purpose.
He set the scene fairly early last week.
For us to be successful he needs to be superseded but that's not the case right now.
It'll happen eventually. Our midfield was hailed as one of the best in the comp last year. The only change we made this year was to bring in Thomas and not only that, to make him a focal point for clearances. And now we have one of the worst midfields. We're not going to win the flag this year. So instead of playing a hack who we know is not going to take us there (Port Adelaide proved this) we should be playing kids who might (Miles).
And thats why he mostly handballs. As I showed he has less clangers and higher disposal efficiency than Cotch, does that mean Cotch should be dropped? The hate is totally justified. Hes not in the team to use the ball, hes in the team to win it, and since there aren't many others that are doing that for us at the moment, we need him.
Also I use stats to back up my points, thats not how I judge him. I judge him by the fact that hes always going hard at the ball and purring on pressure.
Not even 3 or 4 top games by Thomas against Ess, Nth, Syd & Freo? We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. Nobody can change my mind on him.

Not even the 5 center clearances we got for the whole game against Melbourne? Does that not show that we need another clearance player? Thomas has been averaging 2.7 center clearances per game this year. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. Nobody can change my mind on him.

Some people on this board are just so stubborn, they refuse to admit that a player they don't like can actually play well.
Hard to believe a Richmond supporter can dislike a Richmond player so much. You would fit in well with Essendon supporters, were you can boo your own players as much as you like.
Seriously I look at the quality of his disposal. I don't care if he gets 20 clearances a game. If he doesn't do anything with them then what's the point. I don't boo him I just laugh alot actually........and there's a bit of crying as well
He's filling Jackos role ATM. Yes he's not going to take us far but there is a lot worse in the teamOur midfield was hailed as one of the best in the comp last year. yes I hate those cheats, always have. delusional , overated cheats. this is my grand final. eat em alive !I've accepted that we will miss the finals this year but one thing I'd like to get out of this season is a Dreamtime win against the cheating druggies
