One thing that really stood out yesterday was how loose the checking was on our runners by gws. Dusty, lids, houli and ellis all had great games, but they haven't had that much space all year and can't expect that again from better opposition.

Knew Jack was going to have a big day when he started on the wing at the first bounce and at CHB at subsequent bounces. Was allowed to be anything but predictable.
Morris as the small defensive lock-down forward is one on Dimma's better moves - not only applies great pressure and slows down rebound of half back on opposition play makers but did some great blocking for Jack, Ty & Griff to allow them space for a lead. Dea I like in the backline and I would leave Morro up forward from now on.
We got caught with the ball quite a lot, especially early but as frustrating as that is, I much prefer it as it means we are attacking, playing on and creating.
As we get better at it we will be caught less.
Rance is in great form - read the flight really well, as always competed very hard and set up lot's of play.
I like Grimes in the team - dunno why some here don't.
Ben Lennon is an ace.
Foley showed he still has very good value, not as quick as he was but quick enough considering we are down on pace a bit.
Shane Edwards in the forward 50 is unpredictable and creative & despite some ill-informed thoughts, runs very hard and plays hard.

GWS were hopeless so the margin flatters greatly but often in the past we would have allowed them to pull us back to their crap play and we would have won be 30 - 40 odd.... we stayed focussed which was a big positive for mine.

At least we have reason to look forward to Sat night now.

Great game by the tiges, we won because we worked hard and did it all day, that should be the expectation and the rule regardless of the opposition.

On the other hand, GWS are an indictment on the competition right now, they don't care or work hard - seems like they expect the premisrships will just drop into their laps in a few years.

Going to be a quiet week;

• Side won by 100+ so we can't sack the coach this week
• Hampson took marks.
• Vickery and Grigg didn't have any usual "noticeable" moments.
• Jack kicked 11 so the media can't blast him for poor body language, sitting on his own, revealing top secret info in a presser.............

We also can't get carried away as we only played the witches hats, pressure on us was non existent............

Hats off to Dusty,Playing more consistent football.Bet GWS were wishing they said yes.
Good move by Dimma playing Morris in Kings former role.Overwhelmed by the positive acknowledgement by those Dimma haters.
Happy with Dea's return to the side,But the true tests starts this week for him and the side when we face better opposition.
Not sure how much we can take out of the game when you consider they made Hampson look like Dean Cox.
