Higgins is a star, doesn’t stop giving 110%. Glad he picked his bag.

Hammer was pretty good overall. The midfield was absolute shit and defence looks like it's got no cohesion. Up forward we have no tall target and only Higgins and Owens look like they are going to score most weeks.

Went in with zero expectations and watched without emotion, we were/are average, feel nothing about the loss.

Harley Reid auditioned well for his managers attempt to use us as an opportunity to bump his price up.

We have gone backwards, we just aren't very good. We'll have some good moments this year, but years of poor drafting and being middle of the road has ensured we are going nowhere in reality.

Steele and Macrae aren’t taking us forward and these guys need 4 quarters playing together each week. Windy & Hugo aren’t clean enough.

It's hard to watch the team that beat Geelong and Port a few weeks ago and compare them to this. I know there's something to be said for a young team being inconsistent, but this is almost bi-polar levels of up and down.

The players are picking and choosing which weeks they want to turn up. Feels like they need to be deeply embarrassed before they show some aggression the following week. And for many many years we've had a culture accepting a soft underbelly from playing those who don't deserve it, selected just because of the size of their contract.

Eagles had previously won 5 quarters in the 9 games they've played this year. They won basically all 4 in one game.
Lack of leadership, lack of skill, lack of toughness, lack of smarts, just a club that has no idea what they want to achieve. Don't give me that dribble that our kids are promising and its exciting, every other club is doing the same thing. We are middling club of the tigers in 90s, north melbourne of the 00s and it doesn't look where anywhere closer of either rebuilding or contending.
